On our way out to Minnesota, Russ and I got in touch with our inner Forrest Gump and occupied a bench at the airport for eight hours before hopping on our flight to Minneapolis. After spending that amount time with the beloved seat, I thought the ole bench was worthy of a picture. You can imagine Russ' face when we got up to leave the aforementioned bench, and I stopped to take a picture. haha

We finally made it to the cabin that night after midnight, which is one o'clock our time, so yes, we very much could have driven all the way there and beat our airport-going selves by a few hours.
Anyway...once we arrived, we had a great time with the Schneider family and the neighbors on the lake.
We were able to eat at Zorbaz' Pizza...I love, love, love this pizza, so I was really happy we made it out before the blizzards...yes, plural...came.

Picture time in front of the fireplace:

And just like I have a picture of the bench, with which we spent an exorbitant amount of time, I also have to include something else with which we spent an insane amount of time.
THE SNOW!!!
This is a picture of the lake...just past the trees...yes, that is the lake. Holy blizzard!

Good work, Russell.

I needed one snow picture, so I decided to stand next to it and smile...and then quickly hop in the car. ;)

Merry Christmas from Ottertail, MN!
