Happy (early) Father's Day...and other May events.

Since it is Russell's first Father's Day, Addie informed me that she would like to go all out for her favorite man. Acting just like her mother, she couldn't wait to give the gift until June 17, so after scouring the ads for Memorial Day sales, she decided on the perfect gift for her daddy...a new gas grill!  Not only was he excited, but he was also extremely impressed with his daughter's apparent knack for gift-giving at such a young age.
Hooray grill!

"Seriously, Dad!  Do you see that new grill out there?"-Addie

Happy Mother's Day, Mom! -Addie

I'm a big girl now!  11 lbs 11 oz 24 inches long at my two month appointment!  Rockin' the purple bandaids.

Seriously, Mom...enough pictures.  My face is square...I get it.
Ok...I think I am caught up on the blog.  School's out for summer.  We are excited to spend the summer together.  I am not a fan of guarantees, but I think I can guarantee this summer will be better than last.  Now that Miss Addie is here, we can enjoy our travels...I am just not going in the backseat any time soon...bad memories...eww.

May...

I have found my hands...and my hands have found my mouth...constant entertainment.

The Everhart gang was in town, so we all were able to get together...Rachel, Renee, Casey, and Meredy...ladies only picture...the gentlemenfolk were there too.

CSU graduation...(grand) Mother's Day part 2...

Russ, Addie, and I flew to Colorado to see Aunt Cassie graduate from Colorado State University.  It was a zip trip, but we had a great time!  The timing was perfect, for Russ, Jennie, and Cassie were able to spend Mother's Day with their mom.

(grand)Mother's Day part 1

JoJo received her gift from Addie a little early due to our Colorado trip on actual Mother's Day.

Ooh a penguin card from Miss Addie.

Yay...an Addie mug!  Just what everyone has always wanted.

Dan thinks the gift is cool...Addie thinks Dan is cool.

Moose decided the pacifier was entertainment enough, making his "mother" proud.  (Don't worry...the pacifier was thrown away after Moose was done).
We celebrated actual Mother's Day a few weeks later, but I do not have any pictures to display.  JoJo received a "Gantz" bag...a canvas bag with Gantz embroidered on it...filled with goodies.
